Dr. Panahpour assumes the Big Pharma and some government agencies factions may have been upset when he started sharing his findings, research and experiences with the public via TV, radio , lectures and articles, and raising public awareness. Those with power prefer to keep the public naïve so that they can better control and manipulate. His preference has been to open the minds of the public, sharing alternative truths, current research, and thinking for themselves.
From governmental agencies to Quackwatch, they did their best, and still do, to stifle, silence him, and prevent me from sharing and teaching. Quackwatch is a small group of alienated professionals who seek to silence any alternative medical group or procedure. Issues of the risk of a medical procedure versus the lower risk of an alternative procedure are not in their realm of consideration. Yet in spite of their efforts, he always stood for what was right and often not what might be easy. Trying to help the downtrodden and those without a voice or even knowing there might be an option, resonates within the core of his being.
After every attack, there was a ripple effect to his soul but still I was able to pick myself up, center and ground myself, and continue the battle for his patients and the public’s best interests. These attacks knew no limits as even his parental rights with his daughter were influenced by the purposeful misinformation published by the Quackwatch group.
Yet Dr. Panahpour is sure, if the divine did not prepare him to handle it, these challenges would never have been handed to me. He has always felt that the challenges in his life have been given to him to make him better, learn more about life, and share what he can with humanity.
I recognize the need for a broader scope in modern dentistry. Since it is about much more than just cleaning, drilling, filling and then … billing.
